Shipping Update – January 2021
Hair Rules is committed to prompt order processing to get your order to you as efficiently as possible. We deliver shipments to the shipping carriers within 48 hours of receipt of your order and will not refund shipping fees caused by carrier delays. The USPS and other package carriers are experiencing unprecedented delays right now. Shipping carriers have yet to scan many of the packages in their facilities which may show on your tracking as “waiting for the item”. Once your package is scanned by the shipping carrier it will show up in the tracking system with shipping updates. Feel confident your order will arrive to you soon. All orders are shipped within 48 hours Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm.
We use the following carriers to deliver our orders:
If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders using 1st Class USPS mail will not have tracking numbers.
The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the weight of your products, and your location. Before completing checkout, you will be shown the cost of shipping and will have the chance to cancel your order before placing it. No refunds on shipping.
If an item goes on back order we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock. When the item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.
For a limited time, orders over $100 (after discounts have been applied) qualify for free standard shipping. No discount code required. Free standard shipping option must be selected at checkout. Does not apply to expedited or rush shipping. Standard shipping delivery times are estimated between 5-10 business days and may be subject to carrier delays. If free standard shipping is not chosen at checkout, shipping will not be refunded.

How to Return an Item
Your item must be in its original unused condition to be returned, unless there is a manufacturer defect. You must return the item within 30 days of your purchase.

- Include in your package a signed letter stating the reason for your return and the original receipt.
We do not accept return items that have been used or open unless it is determined as a manufacturer defect.
All items are subject to a 10% restocking fee, this will be deducted from your refund. We also do not refund the original shipping and handling that you paid on the order.
We only accept exchanges on a case by case basis. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org if you think you fall under this category.
