Cancellation Policy

  1. If you wish to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment via Vagaro. Please note: Vagaro booking system does not allow you to cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment. If you need to cancel within the 24-hour window, you can send an email to salon@hairrules.com. You will be charged $75.
  2. Appointments canceled within 24 hours will incur a $75-fee.
  3. We cannot honor appointments that are 15 or more minutes late . Clients who fail to show after 15 minutes will be considered no-shows and charged a the full amount of the appointment.
  4. Clients who dont show up for their appointments and notify us by email or text will be considered a NO SHOW and will be charged the full cost of service.

  1. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your appointment so that we can be sure to accommodate your schedule.
  2. Please arrive with your hair free of extensions, braids, or twists.
  3. A detangling fee applies to excessively tangled hair as it requires more work.
  4. For protective styles such as blowouts, twist-outs, braid-outs, weaves, wigs, etc. that have been worn for two weeks or more, we require that you wash your hair prior to your appointment. Failure to do so will result in additional fees and/or you may be asked to reschedule your appointment.
  5. If it has been longer than 3month or more since your last haircut, please use discretion before booking color, relaxer, keratin a blowout (silk press), curly style (wash and go), or a curly lesson. If Dickey feels that the outcome of service may be affected due to the condition of the hair, they may recommend that you switch your appointment at that time for a haircut and/or you may be denied service due to time constraints.
  6. Due to limited space in our waiting area, unless you are under the age of 16 , please do not bring companions during your appointment. No exceptions.
  7. Gratuity is cash only.
  8. Hair Rules booking system thru Vagaro is completely automated and allows you to book cancel and reschedule any appointment at any time and as many times as you like as long as it is within the hair rules salon policy time perimeters.
  9. We do not manage guest appointments, we do not offer an option @ 212-315-2929 to leave a message for any other reason than to book an appointment for hair rules LA OR ATLANTA . We do not take appointment request by email. If you don’t see an appointment available that’s because there are none available. Keep trying 🤞🏼

Covid-19 Policy

COVID-19 POLICY: WE HAVE LIFTED ALL COVID RESTRICTIONS UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. MASK ARE OPTIONAL.
  1. Upon arrival, please proceed to the bathroom to WASH YOUR HANDS. Please stow your clothes in the closet and then make your self comfortable a in the waiting area.
  2. We have complimentary face masks, hand sanitizers.
  3. Do Not bringing companions during your appointment unless you are under the age of 16. No exceptions.
  4. If you are sick stay home.
